From heirloom tiaras to bargain bling! Kate Middleton once again proves she’s the perfect people’s royal.
Last night at the royal screening for “Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom,” the Duchess of Cambridge, 31, accessorized her chic and simple winter white Roland Mouret gown (that she first wore for a private dinner at Claridges in May 2012!) with a shimmering statement necklace that looked like rows upon rows of diamonds.
And since Middleton set the world on fire just this week when she stepped out in a tiara once belonging to Queen Elizabeth II, no one would have been surprised if the bauble was yet another piece from the royal collection of jewels.
But, ever-the down-to-earth Duchess, her neck adornment gained a new level of impressiveness when it was revealed to be a $35.90 necklace from Zara!
